OK, so that’s not the *actual* design— it’s a sketch made on an airplane that’s in the process of becoming a Web design. But the design itself is looking pretty good, thanks in large part to the active involvement of David W. McKelvey, one of the most engaged and Web-savvy clients we’ve ever had, who is getting his hands dirty right along with us in bringing this idea to life.

I particularly like the black splotch at (350,400). Is that done with png transparency?
I always find it interesting to see other designers’ working process, and hadn’t seen this sketch but I can say it looks remarkably like the actual design mock-ups. (I do little sketches myself, so this one resonates significantly.)
And, I was really looking to be involved and know that this isn’t a typical educational consultant relationship, but then WW is not your everyday web consultant. (They are probably spoiling me for any future consultant.)
